Simply “Egg”cellent Easter Decorations

Simply Eggcellent DecorationsSpring is in the air! Time to put away those winter decorations and bring some color into your life. We have just the project for you. A lot of people only use ornaments for Christmas, but we are here to show you that they can be used for more than just that. These beautifully painted egg ornaments are here all year long and perfect for your spring/Easter decorations! They are finely crafted from glass in Poland, come in multiple colors, and can be found online and in-store.

We have two different ways to showcase these ornaments. The first is going to be as a display in your doorway, and the other will be a fabulous centerpiece for your table.

Doorway Branch Display

For this setup you will need the following:

  • A branch
  • Ribbon
  • Fishing line
  • 10-12 Egg ornaments
  • 2 Command Brand hooks

The trick is to find the perfect branch that will hold multiple ornaments and not be too heavy to hang with fishing line. After you find the branch, string ribbon through the ornament hooks and tie them in a knot to the branch. Place the Command Brand hooks on the wall; they will need time to set. Cut two pieces of fishing line to the length you need to hang the branch.

Loop one end of each piece of line so that you can hang it from a Command Brand hook on the wall and tie the other end to the branch. Repeat and carefully hang the fishing line on the Command Brand hooks and your masterpiece is complete. Beautiful isn’t it!

For this setup you will need the following:

  • 12 Ornament Eggs
  • Pearl Garland (or any type of garland you’d like)
  • Fake moss
  • Large Glass Bowl

This simple design all starts with a great bowl. The bowl that we are using is sold in- store only, retails at $22.99, and has a pale green exterior that makes it perfect for an Easter/spring centerpiece. First, place a handful of moss in the bottom of the bowl. Spread it apart so that it covers the whole bottom of the bowl and goes up the edges a bit. Cut the pearl garland into 3-to 5-inch pieces; set aside for later. Arrange all the egg ornaments in the bowl the way you prefer. You will want to stack them on top of each other, leaving some open spaces for the garland. Once the eggs are where you’d like them, start sticking the garland pieces into different open spaces between the eggs. Then place the bowl, so perfect, in the middle of your table and admire your job well done!
