My Favorite time with my pet dog was when I was real sad cuz I didn’t get anything for easter, so my pet dog went and stole my friends easter basket that was filled with chocolates and brought the basket to me and set it in front of me.
I ate everything shoving it down my pie hole as fast as I could.
A great memory I have is my niece has a bearded dragon. And whenever I come over she will look at me but literally look at me up-and-down and then turns her whole body around like OK I’ve seen enough.
She sounds like a “colorful” (and lovable!) character, Rita!
My dog Pixie’s best holiday moment was when she received a Christmas llama toy. She took her gift (which was of course wrapped) and she skillfully unwrapped it to reveal her llama.
This is hilarious, Nancy! We hope Pixie got along well with the fa-la-la-la-llama.
My 13 year old cat Riley’s best Holiday moment was when she came to live with me on Christmas Eve in 2007. My 20 year old cat had passed away a few months before and my family surprised me with a new kitten.
Oh wow, Melanie! Loosing a pet, especially after 20 years is so heartbreaking! But how wonderful that Riley was able to bring some Christmas magic and more love to you in 2007!
Our dog Franklin’s best holiday moment was being adopted two weeks before Christmas nearly 10 years ago! My husband and I went out Christmas shopping and came home with a forever friend in a dachshund.
What a sweet story, Kristin, and a hard gift to top, they really do become forever friends and family!
Our dogs Simba, Nala & Scar’s best holiday moment every single year is when they get to open their gifts out of their stockings. When they were pups, we taught them all how to unwrap gifts, so they fully participate in the experience! 🙂 Their grandpawrents also bring them gifts to open. They LOVE it. And to top off the evening, cuddling by the fire. We have never been to Frankenmuth’s Dog Bowl Festival, but we would love to plan a trip!
This sounds so PAWsome, Sarah! We sure would LOVE to see them in action this Christmas season!
Our family needs to plan a trip! We haven’t been to Frankenmuth in about 9 years.
Wow! 9 years is quite a bit of time! If your family gets to make the trip back, we’re sure you’ll find all sorts of new things to love about Frankenmuth; the town has so much to offer!
Wish the border was open, our last visit was Sept, 2019…. Love that you used a pic of our 3 Golden’s in our Christmas House… Can’t wait to get back to your beautiful store and beautiful town.
Thank you, Wina! We are honored you shared those sweet photos of your fur-babies with us! We’re looking forward to when you are able to visit again too, we sure miss our Canadian neighbors!
I haven’t yet been to the dog bowl festival, but I’d love to go sometime. We have guinea pigs and I bought them little Christmas hats to wear this year for a Christmas picture.
That sounds too adorable!!
Our cat Wishes’ best holiday moment is when we open the stocking just for her with toys and treats! But the other part of Christmas morning, all the paper and tissue paper and ribbon to play in, comes a close second!!
Kids or pets, it’s always the packaging isn’t it, Janel?!
