But let’s start with your plate! No doubt, this broccoli mushroom salad brings fresh veggies tossed in a flavorful dressing to your table. In fact, I see myself making this regularly in the days ahead.😃 This salad is a great complement to many entrees. What’s more, it travels well, and you can time the addition of the sauce to the start of your meal.
Broccoli Mushroom Salad
Equipment
- 1 paring/slicing knife
- 1 large mixing bowl
- 1 cutting board
- 1 medium mixing bowl
- 1 whisk
- measuring spoons
- measuring cups
- 1 mixing spoon
Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced thin I used 12 ounces to balance ingredient quantities, but 16 ounces is fine for mushroom lovers.
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli flowerets I used 3 small/regular broccoli crowns. Even one full head would not be enough unless it is extremely large.
- 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
Sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Combine mushrooms, broccoli, and onions; refrigerate.
- Mix together sauce ingredients and add to broccoli and mushroom mixture 1-2 hours prior to serving.

- 2 morel mushroom clip-on glass ornaments
- 2 mushroom clip glass ornaments

Directions
- First, simply clip the ornaments on the teardrop. This teardrop is made of beautiful artificial pine, greenery and pinecones – the mushroom clip ornaments complement it perfectly!
2. Then make a simple bow to top the teardrop and bring a burst of coordinating color. (Because I was making a smaller bow, I eliminated the second/top row of loops that Amanda demonstrates in the video. You can certainly adapt this tutorial to your specific needs.)
3. Finally, hang the completed teardrop on a wall or door.
By all means, I love this mushroom wall decor. To begin with, it’s easily assembled. Second, it looks great year-round. You can simply change out the bow/ribbon for autumn, etc. And lastly, every part of it can be repurposed at any time since the ornaments clip on the teardrop.
