I look at my mother in law as my mom instead of my biological mother. Since I married in to the family she has been the mother I’ve always dreamt of having. She is a godly woman. That shows me much love. Feeds us when we’re hungry. Especially when she knows we are going through some financial issues. A few weeks ago she handed me a fifty dollar bill and said the big guy upstairs (God) told her to give this to me. I started balling my eyes out because my husband and I had no idea how we were even going to have gas for the week. Even though they are going through financial struggles as well. She is an amazing woman and now I know what it’s like to have a mom that loves and takes care of her children.
My mom is my best friend, would not be who I am today without her, there are 6 of us kids, we all had a very loving mother, I think some of my favorite memories about growing up is, the cereal box toys were put in Brown lunchbags until there was enough for each of us and then we got to pick a bag, saved a lot of arguing, and another everyday one of us got to help cook dinner, we all became good cooks because of her doing that. I not only have a great mother but also a great friend!
One of my favorites quips of my mom is “Go jump in a lake.” We usually get this response after saying something snarky. 🙂
Growing up I was bullied constantly & I even got shoved into a giant mud pit right in front of my mother by some older kids & ever since then she has always been my bodyguard/best friend & protective is an understatement. She always told me to never let anyone dim my sparkle & if they did then Momma Bear would be on the prowel. I’ve had countless medical issues these past two years & she has gone to every doctor’s appointment with me, regardless of the fact that I’m 21 & has been there through every procedure, surgery, tests etc. I honestly don’t know where I would be without someone like her & I’m so blessed to call her my mother, because even though she works 7 days a week & helps out anyone she can, she pushes through all the stress & jobs to make sure she’s there for me.
