Merry CHRISTmas, Fröhliche Weihnachten, Feliz Navidad, Wesołych Świąt, Buon Natale, καλά Χριστούγεννα … No matter what part of the world you are in, how you say it or how you celebrate it, the message is the same:
“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.”
Nativities Share The “Merry CHRISTmas” Message
Originator Wally Bronner’s passion about the CHRISTmas story started at a very early age. Which, as a result, is shared in Bronner’s program center where guests can see some of his early-life nativities on display. Additionally, his large collection of nativities from all around the world are also on display.
Wally’s first hand-painted, life-size nativity from 1945 (when he was 18) is on display above our Program Center entrance. (And featured along with other mesmerizing artifacts in our 75th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt Post!) A paper nativity that he framed as a gift for his parents in 1939, which hung above his childhood home’s mantel for many years, is now also on display.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…”
It’s so neat to see the nativity – HIStory – portrayed from all around the world. Depicted in both vibrant or muted hues. Crafted from a myriad of mediums. And in all shapes or sizes. The CHRISTmas story continues to be passed down through the generations.
So no matter what reach of the World you are reading this from, our message is the same, may you enjoy the merriest of CHRISTmases, filled with love, peace and the deepest joy, from all your friends at Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland!
