Meet The Team at Bronner’s

Keeping the World’s Largest CHRISTmas Store merry and bright all year long takes a pretty remarkable team. While you may see many friendly faces when you visit Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, Michigan, there are equally as many behind-the-scenes, too. Meet the team!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

In this new series, we are happy to introduce you to five team members from different departments throughout Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland!

Have any burning questions? Let us know in the comments below!

MEET THE TEAM: SHANNON

Shannon, Bronner’s Product Development Coordinator

Shannon has been with us for 16 years. In fact, she started off in our personalized department before becoming one of our graphic artists and product development coordinator. This talented young lady designs many of the Exclusive items you’ll find at Bronner’s!

To begin with, we asked her about a favorite memory.

“I recently had the opportunity to paint a personalized ornament for Vice President @MikePence when he made a stop at Bronner’s. It was such a humbling experience to paint a special ornament for someone in such a historic and honorable office.”

In addition, Shannon loves to travel.

“I love to see new places. My husband and I travel whenever we can and this past year we went to Ireland, London and France on our honeymoon. It was incredible and we can’t wait to return!”

Alyssa has been with Bronner’s snack area, “Season’s EATings,” since 2017.

Above all, she loves decorating Bronner’s signature Christmas sugar cookies. And she’s pretty fantastic at it, too!

If Alyssa was trapped in a store for 24 hours, which store would she choose?

“Walmart! I’m always there!”

MEET WENDY

Wendy from Bronner's promotions department, and custom and resale ornament departments works at her desk
Wendy, Bronner’s Promotions Department.

Wendy has been working at Bronners since 1999. However, she spent many of those years in our customer service department before transferring to the office to help out in our promotions department, wholesale and custom ornaments department, and at reception.

“I don’t feel like I have a favorite part of my job,” Wendy said. “All of the jobs that I do have such variety that all of them combined create the love that I have for my job.”

Above all, where would Wendy go if she could travel anywhere in the world?

“It would be to Hawaii to visit my daughter and son-in-law who are stationed there in the Navy.”

Did You Know? Custom ornaments are perfect promotional gifts and wedding favors!

MEET THE TEAM: ANDY

Andy has worked at Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland for 20 years in our shipping and facility and logistics department.

He enjoys working with people and mowing the grass. (You’ll see Andy wearing his John Deere hat most days!)

When we asked him if he collects anything, he shared a short but insightful response.

“Memories.”

Our facilities and logistics department is responsible for maintaining Bronner’s at its best, both inside and out. For instance, Planting flowers in the spring and collecting boxes to be compacted for recycling are just a few of the tasks you will find them doing throughout the year!

In conclusion, Mary has been with us since 2001 in our sparkle department, which originator Wally Bronner aptly named our cleaning team. We are grateful to the members of our sparkle department, who keep things sparkling for both guests and staff!

In truth, Mary’s favorite part of her job is meeting the public, many  from around the world.

We also asked Mary what she would like to do when she retires.

“Travel the world,” she replied.

BRONNER’S TEAM

In light of Bronner’s staff numbering around 250 in the slower season but ramping up to over 700 at Christmas time, we can’t wait for you to meet a few more smiling faces and departments!

Hi Theresa, With the safety of our guests and Santa in mind, in lieu of regular Santa visits this year, Bronner’s will be hosting four Facebook live-video visits with Santa. The dates and times: 7 p.m. Friday, November 27; 7 p.m. Thursday, December 3; 7 p.m. Thursday, December 10; and 7 p.m. Thursday, December 17. Santa is looking forward to talking to children of all ages, singing songs of the season, sharing a craft and recipe, and more. Mrs. Claus will join him for two of the visits. And on Thursday, December 3, we will be visiting our neighbors at Grandpa Tiny’s Farm and meet their reindeer.

    Hello,

I recently shopped at Bronners for the first time and I was so pleased with the customer service, friendly faces as well and awesome disarray of ornaments (I purchased a Buzz Lightyear mug for myself) I work for the American Heart Association and was wondering if there is anyway we could partner. We work a lot around the holiday season with our volunteers and I would love to see how we could work together!

Hi, Mike. I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit to Bronner’s! Since the vast majority of our partnerships take place in the greater Frankenmuth community and the Bronner Family Foundation gives annually to the American Heart Association, we will have to pass on a partnership. We do wish you and yours a blessed Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

I heard there was a position for a graphic designer. My last name is Rudolph and I’m obsessed with Christmas. Is there any chance I could still be considered in the snow pile?
