Each year the Bronner family hosts a staff Christmas party in mid-January for the Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland team. (Due to the busy-ness of the actual season for us, we celebrate the month following.) For many years, the party theme celebrated the Christmas traditions in a particular country or part of the world. So it was on January 19, 2013, when the 2012 staff gathering was a Bronner’s British Christmas!
There were Union Jack flags, plum puddings, Christmas trees, mini beef wellingtons, wassail, fish and chips, and other “scrummy” bites! Fascinators topped many a pretty head.
The Bronner family donned royal garb, and even “James Bond” dropped in to share conversation and a drink with Bronner’s president and CEO Wayne Bronner.
Photo opportunities abounded. Life-sized cardboard cutouts of the royal family and a classic red telephone box were placed decoratively throughout the hall, awaiting that adoring peck on the cheek or click of the camera.

What did the Bronner family do with the life-sized cardboard cutouts after the party? Held a staff drawing, of course, to give each of them a permanent home! And home they all went, except for my favorite – Prince Harry! My promotions department teammate Shannon won him and decided to keep him in her office where he greets her each morning!
The red-headed prince is a favorite of mine so just for fun, I toured him around the Bronner’s grounds. Recognize some of these spots?

I carried it on with my son then his kids. Now I bring them to Bronner’s every year so they can pick out the ornaments they want to buy for their parents and siblings. And I pay for them. Every year since my husband and I started dating, we’ve made it a tradition to visit!! We had our stockings personalized, and add a few ornaments to our tree each season. Last year our son had his pictures taken with Santa, and had his stocking personalized for his first Christmas. This year we will bring our daughter too, who was a new arrival in February 2017, and our exchange student from Thailand!
