Our gluten-free raspberry rose scones are as indulgent as our original “Bronner’s Flavorful Favorites” scones! However, we’ve adapted the recipe here for those with gluten sensitivities to now be able to enjoy, too.
Without a doubt, gluten-free recipes and resources have most certainly come a long way in recent years!
What’s more, gluten-friendly ingredients are far more easy to source now, too, compared to when I first started exploring the gluten-free world.
As a result, I was able to convert the delicious Blueberry Scones recipe featured in Bronner’s 1st Edition of Flavorful Favorites Staff Cookbook into a wonderful GF version. The raspberry-rose combo comes courtesy of our Enchanted Rose Menu Ideas for Mother’s Day.

Why Are Gluten-Free Recipes Measured In Metric vs. Cups?
Because of the vast amount of gluten free flours and mixes available, consisting of varying properties – including hydration levels, using the metric system is particularly important to promote accuracy and consistency. Both which are crucial for achieving not just successful, but the best results.
For this reason, it is highly recommended that you use a food scale to measure the ingredients.

An Honest GF Recipe Review
I gauge the success of this conversion by my gluten-tolerant co-worker who was quite skeptical about a gluten free baked good! It’s a delight to report that she approves. What’s more, she raved about these gluten-free raspberry rose scones. She loves all things bread and rolls, without a doubt considering it an inherited trait from her grandfather. 😂
“These gluten-free raspberry rose scones really pleasantly surprised me,” she said. “The texture was dense, yet flaky, just like one would expect from the best bakery scone. And the flavor was subtle, yet rich, not overpowering at all. In other words, this gluten snob was certainly humbled by this delicious gluten-free recipe.”
