TASSEL DIRECTIONS

Cut open one end of each of the skeins of embroidery flosses. Set one six-strand of each color aside to use as ties. Stretch the remaining floss out on your surface, combined.

Find the center and tie the strings together using one of the six-strands you set aside. Then knot the ends of your tie together to form a loop. (This loop will wrap around the button to attach the tassel to the cap.)

Fold the flosses in half at the center tie. About 1″ down from the top of the fold, tie the second six-strand. Wrap each end of the six-strand tightly around the tie to form the top of the tassel. When you have just a couple of inches of each end of the six-strand left to wrap, thread each into a small needle and tuck the loose end inside the tassel top.
