We started with a repurposed barn door for our headboard. The red patina of the rustic wood complemented both of our Christmas-bedroom themes: snowmen and the Nativity. You really can’t go wrong with recycled barnwood. We used more of it, along with a couple of two by fours, to build two perfect night stands to sit alongside our Christmas bed.
Our mixed pine garland with red ornaments and LED lights was the perfect topper for our headboard. Matte ornaments, shiny ornaments, snow-tipped pine cones, red and green berries – this garland is a Christmas classic!
Santa’s retro North Pole radio captures the charm of yesteryear and plays three classic Christmas songs by the original artists: “Deck the Halls” by Smokey Robinson, “Jingle Bells” by Bing Crosby, and “Up on the Housetop” by The Jackson 5. Hear a sample of the tunes.
Snowmen are one of the most popular decorating themes for Christmas. They’re ageless and fun and can be left on display all winter long.
We couldn’t forget to hang our 16-inch dimensional snowman stocking! This was a quick and easy task with our antique brass mantle clips , etched with pretty snowflake designs. “Lighting” your fireplace is safe and simple with our warm white battery-operated 18 LED Invisilites.
