How in the world do you pick just 5 favorites made in the USA from Bronner’s selection? All things considered, it’s a little daunting – but loads of fun!
After all, children of all ages are drawn to Bronner’s toys, books and jigsaw puzzles in section 3. No doubt, that’s a great place for me to start naming my four favorites made in the USA!

Vermont Christmas Company Puzzles
I’m not sure I can put my finger on exactly what attracts me to Vermont Christmas Company’s jigsaw puzzles. But take, for example, the art in my very favorite puzzle, “Christmas Gnomes.” Indeed, the colors are crisp and vibrant, and gnomes continue to trend in popularity. But it’s the expressions of the gnomes that speak volumes. Not one pair of twinkling eyes or puckered lips is like another. Even the placement of the gnomes’ hands – tucked in pockets here, holding a lantern here, folded in rest across a coat – speaks of their various personalities.

In short, Vermont Christmas Company’s puzzles are made today in Burlington, Vermont. Andrew Kelly and Bill Flynn, however, launched the company by introducing paper Advent calendars in the European tradition. Vermont Christmas Company’s offerings grew and today, in addition to Advent calendars, include Advent wreaths, Advent candles, Christmas cards and jigsaw puzzles. Their Nativity snow globe Advent calendar is one of my favorites!

5 Favorites Made in the USA-CDI Corp College Ornaments
No doubt about it, CDI Corp’s colorful, acrylic college ornaments make great gifts! Started in 1997 in the basement of a suburban Chicago home, CDI Corp now operates a 16,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility.
In addition to its line of college ornaments, the company manufactures auto decals and accessories along with custom gift products. Specifically, they use only American-made raw materials in production.
Ever mindful of Chicago’s Northwest Side where they live and work, CDI Corp operates The Urban School Foundation. In brief, the nonprofit helps surrounding community schools in a variety of ways.
Beacon Design Ornaments

A U.S. veteran founded Beacon Design. a division of ChemArt, in 1976. Without a doubt, the Beacon Design team, located at headquarters in Lincoln, Rhode Island, take pride in their work. Hand craftsmen etch the ornaments from solid brass. Then they finish them in 24kt gold, rhodium silver or hand lacquer. Surely it’s the detail of the metal work and vibrant finishes that catch my eye. Their jolly snowman design is a perfect partner to my CDI Corp Central Michigan University ornaments!
5 Favorites Made in the USA-Byers Choice Carolers

Ella Fitzgerald said, “The only thing better than singing is more singing.” All things considered, perhaps that’s what draws me to Byers Choice Carolers. No doubt, it’s the joy of singing, especially carols at Christmas. Or maybe it’s the carolers’ expressive faces and stances. Or the rich reds and greens in traditional Victorian dress.

In any case, what started as Joyce Byers’ hobby grew into a Pennsylvania business that employs dozens of artisans today. Indeed, thousands of gift stores around the world now sell Byers Choice Carolers.
5 Favorites Made in the USA-Weaver Sleigh Bells

If I rode with Santa in his sleigh, I simply couldn’t, without a doubt, keep my hands off his Weaver sleigh bells. I’d be ringing them all ride long! (And singing, of course!) Quality craftsmanship describes this product to a T. As a matter of fact, the strap is made of leather and the bells of brass. You’re sure to “Jingle all the way” with Weaver sleigh bells!
